10:47 pm - Baking Cakes Inspired by some recent custom work and so much fun to make! Love making the icing using liquid polymer clay. With all this cake business going on I thought a baker bear would be a good idea too. Would you believe that hardest part to make was the spoon?! Also recently I found out that they changed the clay I use for my dolls and faeries, Puppen Fimo. I bought the new formula Puppen Fimo thinking they had just changed the picture on the package, but it was new clay too! I'm really quite sad about it because I've been using it for years and this new formula is different and not nearly as good. It's too soft and doesn't hold the fine details like before :( I can't find much about the change but there has been a complaint so I am hoping they will change it back. This is the original packaging, my colour was Rose Doll Pink. If you know anything about the change or if you know where I can get some of the old formula let me know :) In the meantime I am on the hunt for a new doll clay. I did try Prosculpt once and it was good. I think I'll give it another shot.

10:18 pm - Recent custom work Hello Again :) I forgot about some custom work I just finished up... Cupcake bear, for a cupcake lover (aren't we all?!). This bear has given me ideas for other cupcake inspired bears....stay tuned. Ronnie Cat, A holly jayne likeness of a customers cat. Also met two of my favourite artists today, Lilly Piri and Heiko Windisch , Lovely people too! :)

01:22 pm - Birthday Bear Hello There! Just thought I'd share this little guy with you. I made him for my son for his first Birthday which was in August. He's mohair and he wears a cotton party hat on his head, although i think i made it a little too long and skinny!

10:32 pm - Hello! Gosh it has been some time since I posted! My baby boy Cameron is 8 months old already! Well I'm starting to have a little more time on my hands so I thought I'd start an Etsy shop. I've just put up some bears I made while I was pregnant :) Here's my shop, I'm on Etsy! Hopefully I can add a few more things soon. :)

01:02 pm - I had a baby! Our little baby boy was born August 24th! We have named him Cameron :) We are all doing well but of course we're very tired! No time to create right now, the shop is still open but I hoping to change some things around and perhaps return to just bear making. Post again soon when there is time! :)

02:43 pm - Making things for baby So I'm 37 weeks pregnant now! It is so close now and very exciting. I haven't posted anything for a while. We've just been busy preparing I guess. I have really enjoyed being pregnant though and have felt really well. I just thought I'd share a few things I made our little boy. I made the giraffe, elephant and bear all from felt of course. It's been lots of fun sewing for him even though he might not appreciate soft toys for a while yet.
